art of ageing group

Wednesday morning 13th Jan – 24th March 2021

It takes a person of great heart to see…the wisdom the elders have to offer, and so serve them out of gratitude for the life they have passed on to us.
Kent Nerburn

This term we will run two parallel group sessions on the same day: in the studio and online (via Zoom).

online group: 9.30am-12noon

in studio group: 10am-12.30pm

If joining from home, you will need a computer, tablet or smart phone, with a camera+mic. Art materials can be delivered if needed.

In the sessions, there will be facilitated process-oriented artistic activities, biographical conversations and some creative writing. Join us and share what it is like to be growing old in the current times. We work creatively with nature and with stories, both personal and archetypal, exploring memories, wishes and open questions, within a multicultural environment. Our intention is to maintain our spirit young, to value old age, to see a long life as a gift to share, by developing our imagination.

Please note that in the current situation we can accept limited numbers of members (max 6-8) in the studio. Visit our dedicated page for further guidelines on the precautions we are currently taking to help slow the spread of coronavirus.

Payment on a sliding scale: £30-£20 / session, or £270-£180 / in advance for 10 sessions

No previous artistic experience is required.
